How Our Network Works
Who You Talk To
You talk to a person at an independent roofing provider. Causedolder Roofing is a referral service. We do the matching. The provider does the roofing.
Providers in the Frisco area are separate businesses. Some are small local shops. Some are larger firms. Names and details vary, so ask each one to introduce their business.
What Happens on the Call
Short version: you describe the problem, they ask questions, you pick the next step.
Expect questions like these:
- Where is the home?
- How old is the roof?
- What do you see? Stains, missing shingles, drips, or granules in the gutters?
- Was there a recent storm?
A provider may then offer to inspect the roof and give a written quote. Availability varies. Request a callback to check provider availability. Many providers can respond quickly, but we cannot promise a time.
What to Ask an Independent Provider
Keep this list handy. Write down the answers.
- Are you licensed and insured here? Can I see proof?
- Is the quote in writing? What does it include?
- What roofing material will you use?
- Who removes the old roof and cleans the yard?
- What warranty comes with the materials and the labor?
- What happens if rain delays the job?
- Can you help document damage for an insurance claim?
- What upkeep do you suggest after the job?
Full replacements in the U.S. often run from about $6,000 to $15,000 or more. Size, materials, and roof shape change the number. That is why a written quote matters.
Ground Check, Roof Check
You can help safely from the ground. Walk the yard after a storm. Take photos of debris and damage. Look at the roof with binoculars. Check the attic with a flashlight for stains or daylight.
Leave the rest to a pro. Walking a steep roof, checking flashing, testing decking, and tear-off all need gear and training. Roofs get slick in humid weather. A fall is the real danger.
You Are in Control
You can say no. You can get more than one quote. There is no obligation when you request an estimate. Nothing is signed until you sign with the provider.
